On May 25th, 2020, Twitter user @katiey_ke_^[1] posted a tweet of a shirtless man with well-defined abs, writing "Dear men, what is preventing you from looking like this?", gaining over 7,700 retweets and 3,800 likes (shown below).

Spread

The tweet quickly inspired parodies similar to "The Ideal Male Body" meme in that people copied @Katiey_KE_'s text and added pictures humorously suggesting what they wanted men to look like. For example, Twitter user @fingerblaster^[2] made the joke using an artistic rendition of a minotaur, gaining over 240 likes (shown below, left). User @bussydouche^[3] posted a picture of a shirtless, tattooed Danny Devito, gaining over 510 likes (shown below, right).
