About

Dark Humor MFs When or Offensive Joke MFs When is a phrasal template used in a series of memes, including image macros, reaction images and POV memes, that criticize a perceived hypocrisy in people who use and claim to enjoy dark humor when the dark humor is aimed at a topic that they enjoy or hold in high regard, portraying the "dark humor MF" as throwing a tantrum when the dark humor doesn't fit their narrative.

The memes use a variation of the snowclone, "Dark humor MFs when X," with "X" referring to the subject of the dark humor they don't enjoy. The memes were popularized on social media, including Twitter / X, Reddit and TikTok throughout 2025, with some of the earliest examples dating back to March 2023.
