Daquavious Pork refers to a Black version of John Pork the human pig. Daquavious Pork memes surfaced en masse on TikTok in mid-2024, predominantly in the form of Daquavious Pork Is Calling and Daquavious Pork Pay, akin to the Mouse Pay and Freak Pay meme that also included "John Pork Pay." Videos of Daquavious Pork singing songs, similar to the Revive App Singing Animals, went viral, mostly from the TikTok account @daquaviousp0rk.

Origin

On March 30th, 2023, TikToker^[1] @reward0071 posted a video in which a Black version of John Pork named Daquavious Pork was calling the viewer. The video received over 900,600 plays and 35,300 likes in a year (shown below).

Spread

About a year later, on July 2nd, 2024, TikToker^[2]^[3] @domthetroll posted two videos in which he asked cashiers if they accepted "Daquavious Pork Pay," while holding a printed-out screenshot of the Daquavious Pork Is Calling meme. One of the videos showed the TikToker at a pizzeria and amassed over 15.6 million plays and 2.5 million likes in a month (shown below).

On August 2nd, 2024, TikToker^[4] @daquaviousp0rk posted his first video, showing a country version of Daquavious Pork singing "Stick Season" by Noah Kahan, gaining over 21,400 plays in three weeks.

On August 9th, TikToker^[5] @daquaviousp0rk posted their first viral iteration of the meme, showing Daquavious Pork singing Wenomechainsama, earning over 2.6 million plays and 345,800 likes (shown below).

Going into August 2024, the TikToker continued to amass viral videos, like one TikTok^[6] shared on August 20th, 2024, showing Daquavious Pork singing "Lonely" by Akon, gaining over 4.1 million plays and 677,300 likes in three days (shown below).
