Daniel Radcliffe Holding Two Guns refers to a series of image macros based on a photograph of actor Daniel Radcliffe wearing a bathrobe and holding two guns taken on the set for the film Guns Akimbo.

Origin

On May 13th, 2018, The Daily Mail published photographs from the set of the film Guns Akimbo.[1]

Three days later, on May 16th, Twitter [2] user @dracomallfoys tweeted several of the images with the caption "this new harry potter movie looks great." The post (shown below) received more than 68,000 retweets and 199,000 likes in two days.

That day, Imgur [5] user Rizbiz99 published the photographs. The post received more than 3,400 points and 168,000 views.

The following day, Twitter[3] user @febreezanator posted one of the images, in which Radcliffe is holding two guns, and added the caption, "Harry Potter and THAT MOTHA FUCKIN THANG ON ME." The post (shown below, left) received more than 39,000 retweets and 100,000 likes in 24 hours.

Twitter[4] @FelipeHerrera97 tweeted the image with the mock Harry Potter title "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Bullets." The post (shown below, center) received more than 1,200 retweets and 4,600 likes in 24 hours. Additionally, Twitter user @sohnianika tweeted, "'Say hello to my little friends, avada & kedavra.'" The post (shown below, right) received more than 4,500 retweets and 10,000 likes in 24 hours.

Several media outlets published the reaction to the images, including Mashable. [6] On December 18th, Twitter[7] published a Moments page on the images.

On January 15th, 2020, the trailer for the film was released,[8] receiving over 500,000 views on YouTube in one day.
