Over the next five years, people continued to post images of father's throwing their children and catching them (example below, left).

On June 22nd, 2020, the hashtag went viral after a tweet^[3] from @BBBlack_3 received more than 221,000 likes and 43,000 retweets (shown below, center). Many responded to the tweet by posting a series of image edits of the picture (example below, right).
