Curl Up Test refers to a series of TikTok videos in which users hit the woah to a remixed version of a school FitnessGram test.
Origin
In 1982, schools have implemented the FitnessGram[1] test to measure student fitness levels. The test uses a recording of a person count out reps. On March 12th, 2019, TikTok user Nattybbb uploaded a soundclip combining You Like Making a Deal With the Devil? audio and the Fitness gram. In the video they hit the woah on a curl up. The video gained over 43,000 likes and 700 shares in two months (shown below).
Spread
On April 22nd, TikTok user made the next iteration of the curl up woah (shown below, left). The video gained over 46,400 likes and 1,300 shares in two weeks. On the next day TikTok user abby.sekerel uploaded another variation with multiple people (shown below, center). The video accumulated over 59,300 likes and 2,000 shares in two weeks. On April 30th, @chloemadlinger performed the woah to the sound clip (shown below, right). The video gained over 41,700 likes and 1,150 shares in a week.
