About
A Butter Board is a food trend where you spread softened butter topped with a variety of seasonings across a charcuterie board and serve it with warm bread, the idea being to dip the bread in the butter. The trend was started on TikTok by Justine Doiron in September 2022, who says she wants the butter board to be "the new charcuterie board." The idea was inspired by the cookbook Six Seasons: A New Way with Vegetables by Josh McFadden.
