Origin

In 2018, YouTuber and streamer Charles "Cr1TiKaL" White streamed[1] a Rainbow Six Siege match on YouTube. During a casual game, a viewer in chat wrote that he would pay Cr1TiKaL if he would kill his teammate who was acting rude,[2] with Cr1TiKaL taking the offer and shooting and killing his teammate. The teammate then proceeded to accuse and berate Cr1TiKaL for friendly fire, with Cr1TiKaL vehemently protesting that the kill was not intentional but rather a "misinput," with misinput being an accidental press of a button (YouTube[3] upload shown below).

- Stop fucking shooting me! What the fuck is wrong with you?! Chill, what the fuck!
- It was a misinput, misinput! Calm down! You calm the fuck down!!! It was a misinput!!!
- Oh my fucking god.
- God, this community is overreacting.
