On July 4th, 2025, the YouTube channel Rogan Extra's posted a video edit of an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast with Joey Diaz, in which Diaz talks about how he used to eat cream cheese and jelly on a poppy seed roll for breakfast with a can of Coca-Cola. Diaz claims that nobody eats cream cheese and jelly on a roll anymore, with Rogan agreeing and saying that people "know better" now. The video gained over 75,000 views in five months.

On December 15th, TikToker^[2] @rswackst posted a brainrot edit of the video in which Diaz has lightning bolt eyes and various parts of the clip have been distorted, garnering over 2.3 million views in a week.
