Couple Kissing Against a Fridge or Woman Kissing Man On Refrigerator is an image macro of a man being picked up by a woman and being kissed against a refrigerator. The image received memetic usage on Twitter and Instagram in 2022, paired with captions that predominantly followed the phrasal template How Men Who X Like To Be Kissed with the "X" being replaced by a subjectively feminine or emasculating hobby, personality trait or activity. The image is similar to the Girl Kissing Guy Against Fence photo.

Origin

It's currently unknown when the original "Couple Kissing Against a Fridge" photo was first uploaded, however, on November 17th, 2020, the Brazilian Facebook ^[1] page F U C K love shared it for the first known time, gaining roughly 30,000 shares and 3,400 reactions in two years. Despite this being the first known posting of the image, it was significantly worse quality than iterations shared after it. For instance, roughly a year later, on September 21st, 2021, the Twitter^[2] page poderiarsernos shared a higher quality version that gained roughly 70,500 likes in 13 months (shown below, left).

On June 13th, 2021, Tumblr ^[3] user cuidarnos shared the image, gaining over 730 notes in a year and a half. On July 21st, 2021, a meme using the image was shared to a Russian website^[4] by the page @Zagony.ru. The meme captioned it, "Это могли бы быть мы с тобой, но ты не хочешь быть счастливой," which in English translates to, "It could be you and me, but you don't want to be happy" (shown below, right). The meme used a mirrored version of the image, and it's currently unknown if the original followed the same orientation. The same mirrored version was used by Russian Twitter^[5] user Ganoy19 on July 17th, 2021.

On August 25th, 2021, the Australian Instagram^[6] page bushchookcrew used the photo in a post that captioned it, "How dudes that drink cider like to be kissed," gaining over 480 likes in 14 months (shown below, left). On September 21st, 2021, the Twitter^[2] account poderiarsernos' viral post was uploaded, gaining roughly 70,500 likes in one year. In early October 2021, Instagram user hollowcloth (since-deleted) posted an iteration that captioned the image, "How dudes with no tattoos like to be kissed" (shown below, left), gaining an unknown amount of likes but multiple viral reposts.^[7]

On March 25th, 2022, Twitter^[8] user xinhalentabusex tweeted a version that captioned the image, "how dudes that play bass like to be kissed," gaining roughly 28,900 likes over the course of four months (shown below, left). On July 13th, 2022, Instagram^[9] user spamdecadente re-edited Twitter user xinhalentabusex's template, instead referencing the "haiiiii ^_ hi!! hiiiiii <3 haiiiiii hii :3":https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/haiiiii-_-hi-hiiiiii-3-haiiiiii-hii-3 meme trend. The post received roughly 4,400 likes in three months (shown below, right).

Continuing into late 2022, the image received more usage on Twitter and elsewhere. For instance, on October 23rd, 2022, Twitter^[10] user SeruzCC referenced how dudes who watch Chainsaw Man like to be kissed, gaining over 90,000 likes in one day (shown below).
