"Could You Play That Song Again?" is an exploitable video series based on a scene form the Nickelodeon animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants. The quote is uttered by the character Mr. Krabs, who calls radio station to request a song. When the DJ asks what song, Krabs attempts to sing the song. Similar to Hey Plankton! Can our first song go like this?, people online replace the song Krabs sings with other pieces of audio.

Origin

On March 29th, 2002, the episode of SpongeBob SquarePants entitled "Krab Borg" aired in the United States.^[1] In the scene, Mr. Krabs is requests the song "Electric Zoo" of a radio DJ. When the DJ asks what song he wants, Krabs attempts to sing it (shown below).

One of the earliest remixes of the scene was published on August 7th, 2011 by YouTuber MilkshakeManSeePee. The post (shown below, left) received more than 4,000 views in seven years.

On May 7th, 2013 by YouTuber Kurai_Roxas. The post (shown below, left) received more than 1,500 views in five years.

Four years later, on November 24th, 2017, YouTuber Chris Kogos posted a video compilation of various remises. Within one year, the video (shown below) received more than 4.6 million views.
