The Chromebook Annihilation Combo was a way to prank one's classmates as part of the viral 2025 Chromebook TikTok trend called Chromebook Durability Tests, which involved destroying the school computers.

Origin

On April 3rd, 2025, TikToker^[1] @mziregyoussef posted a video with text reading, "Ultimate Chromebook annihilation combo," showing himself adjusting the Chromebook's display settings to make it unusable. In a month, the video received roughly 254,400 likes (shown below).

On April 10th, 2025, TikToker^[2] @prodbydamienn posted his own Chromebook Annihilation Combo, receiving over 478,900 likes in a month (shown below). His combo used a similar mix of commands.

On May 7th, TikToker^[3] @flares.szn posted a video of the trend with the caption, "I did the Chromebook total annihilation combo on him," showing himself giving a corrupted computer to his friend. In a day, the video received over 76,400 likes (shown below).
