About

Chicken Alfredo Music, also known as Chicken Alfredo Boomerang Music, refers to an internet slang term and cliché about generic female R&B music that sounds like it would be used as the audio for a Black female influencer's chicken alfredo cooking video, or Boomerang (a type of short, looping video), on Instagram or TikTok. The cliché developed in the mid-2020s, akin to Atlanta Low Exposure Edits and other Black American female tropes, akin to the term basic. The term Chicken Alfredo Music was coined on Twitter / X in mid-2025. A prominent example of Chicken Alfredo Music is the song "Go Girl" by Summer Walker, Latto and Doja Cat, focusing on the lyrics, "Smell good, taste good."
