On February 11th, 2024, X[1] user @margommartin posted a video of former U.S. President Donald Trump being greeted by a local high school band at the Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach, Florida, during the Super Bowl LVIII kickoff. The video received roughly 2.3 million views and 11,000 likes in three days (shown below).

On February 12th, 2024, X[2] user @bennyjohnson reposted the video, gaining over 45,000 likes in two days. In turn, viral reactions and memes about the video surfaced en masse. For instance, on February 12th, X[3] user @TrueSlazac quoted the video, writing, "Bro did a fortnite emote IRL," gaining over 4,200 likes in two days (shown below, left).

On February 13th, 2024, X[4] user @jpbrammer tweeted a screenshot of the video, writing, "this image has a genuine dreamlike quality that AI could never replicate," receiving over 17,000 likes in a day (shown below, right).



The video was also widely shared on other social media platforms. For instance, it was posted to Rumble [5] on February 12th, 2024, gaining over 101,000 views in two days. The video was also shared on TikTok. [6]

Viral posts about the video persisted on X going into February 2024. For instance, on February 13th, X[7] user @somhairle_ quoted the video, writing, "Idk what it is about this guy that creates such incredible images," gaining over 2,100 likes in a day (shown below).
