About
ChatGPT Count To 1 Million is a trend in which people attempt to get the AI ChatGPT to count out loud from one to one million, a task that it consistently refuses to complete. The earliest known instance of someone failing to get ChatGPT to count to one million was posted online in April 2024. In August 2025, the trend went viral across social media as people continually tried and failed to get ChatGPT to reliably count to one million. Purportedly, ChatGPT is unable to do this due to built-in restrictions that attempt to limit its responses to a short span of time.
