The earliest known upload of the Charlie Kirk "Son😭😭😭😭😭" meme was shared by X^[1] user @richpizzaroll on October 25th, 2025. A comment on the /r/fetishcai^[2] subreddit using the image was also posted on October 25th. It's currently unknown who the meme's original creator is.

Before then, on September 26th, 2025, TikToker^[4] @dub5nine reposted an AI Video of Charlie Kirk talking about his death. @dub5nine added a text overlay caption that read, "Son," followed by a string of 😭 emojis. Over two months, the video gained over 11,900 likes.

On October 26th, 2025, X^[3] user @ThomasWrrld used the image in a tweet about NFL player Chuba Hubbard of the Carolina Panthers, reading, "Chuba Hubbard might be washed." The tweet received over 310 likes in 18 days.

On November 1st, X^[5] user @slsa4president quote-tweeted X user Hoodgenius, who had quote-tweeted Vice President J.D. Vance to joke about the Erika Kirk and J.D. Vance Romance Rumors. @slsa4president attached the Charlie Kirk "Son😭😭😭😭😭" meme with no caption, gaining over 4,000 likes in 11 days.

On November 10th, 2025, X^[6] user @JusJazzinOut tweeted the Charlie Kirk "Son😭😭😭😭😭" meme, captioning it, "When you can't find the original image so you're lowkey forced to use the Charlie Kirk version." Over three days, the tweet gained over 11,000 likes.
