Cappuccino Assassino is an AI Italian brainrot animal depicted as a to-go coffee cup with eyes dressed as a ninja, wearing a Hidden Leaf Village headband from Naruto and holding two ninja swords or katanas. The character was created by TikToker @alexey_pigeon in early March 2025, the same TikToker who created the Italian brainrot animals Frigo Camelo and Chimpanzini Bananini. It became increasingly popularized alongside other examples of the meme over the following weeks. The character is often shown to be in a relationship with Ballerina Cappuccina.

Origin

On March 5th, 2025, TikToker^[1] @alexey_pigeon posted an Italian brainrot animal video consisting of an AI-generated image of an anthropomorphic coffee cup dressed as a ninja. The video gained over 6.4 million views in just under two months.

The video's narration roughly translates to: "Capu capu capuccino assassin! Assassin cappuccinos! This furtive assassin infiltrates his enemies, taking advantage of the night. Attentio,n coffee hater! If you don't drink a cup of cappuccino in the morning, you better not cross this guy."

Spread

The character became increasingly popularized in Italian brainrot animal memes throughout March and April 2025 as it spread online.

On April 7th, 2025, TikToker^[2] @drdexo posted a video giving fan lore on the relationship between Cappuccino Assassino and Ballerina Cappuccina, claiming that they were married and she was tricked into believing that Cappuccino was killed by Espressona Signora, leading her to end her own life, garnering over 10 million views in three weeks.

On April 20th, TikToker^[3] @yapapp_ posted a video using AI-generated imagery to tell a story about Ballerina Cappuccina cheating on Cappuccino Assassino with the Indonesian brainrot character Tung Tung Tung Sahur, garnering over 1.2 million views in a week.

On April 27th, 2025, YouTuber^[4] RioX posted a video titled "CAPPUCCINO ASSASSINO FUNK" consisting of a song that samples the Cappuccino Assassino sound, garnering over 13,000 views in a day.
