For example, on February 11th, 2026, he posted a video on TikTok^[3] where he makes thirst trap faces over the comment, "You're so handsome and those eyes," garnering over 6.1 million views in six days.

One of the earliest known memes about Cannonhandz's thirst traps was posted that same day by Instagram^[4] user cattreloaded, in which she reacts to a video of him thirst trapping under the comment "You so damn fine," saying, "I'm not seeing it and I'm looking directly," garnering over 5.1 million views and 175,000 likes in six days.

The memes continued to spread in February 2026.

On February 11th, 2026, Instagram^[5] user la.dessinerie posted a video where one of Cannonhandz's thirst trap videos transitions to an unflattering caricature drawing of Cannonhandz, garnering over 4.3 million views and 240,000 likes in six days.

On February 13th, TikToker^[6] @beenysl posted a meme using a cropped version of Cannonhandz's February 11th thirst trap video, captioned, "me whenever fine shyt compliments me," garnering over 960,000 views in four days.

That day, Facebook^[7] user Jupiter Washington posted a meme that depicts Cannonhandz as a sort of lizard person, writing, "This exactly how ole dude look," garnering over 8,800 shares and 1,200 comments in four days.

The image was reposted by Threads^[8][9] users chitowndeezy and shortlilthickthang on February 14th, the latter captioning it, "I'm tired of seeing this man…. And y'all know who I'm talking about," garnering over 6,100 likes and 8,800 likes respectively in three days.

On February 15th, TikToker^[10] @benihxnx posted a similar meme based on the same video captioned, "How the mf with no ride looks at you once rides home get mentioned after the function," garnering over 1.1 million views in two days.
