The post gained viral spread and inspired redraws over the following months. On February 8th, 2023, it was posted to /r/tumblr,^[2] garnering over 2,500 upvotes in a year. On February 9th, X^[3] user @dailycatboyjerm posted a redraw of the meme drawing the cat as a hybrid between a cat and streamer Jerma985, garnering over 840 likes in the same span of time (shown below). On February 22nd, Instagram^[4] page cats.are_cute.__ shared the original, garnering over 360,000 likes, with am April 4th repost to /r/me_irl^[5] garnering over 45,000 upvotes and a May 9th repost by Instagram^[6] user catmemesforall garnering over 600,000 likes in nine months.

On July 17th, X^[7] user @ShiSeptiana postd a Fire Emblem Engage redraw that gained over 2,000 likes in six months (shown below, left). On November 26th, Tumblr^[8] user moonlight-mistral posted a redraw featuring the Pokemon Espurr, garnering over 1,700 notes in two months (shown below, right).
