"Brisket Song" by George Cooper, also known by the lyrics Soft Brisket, Warm Brisket, Little Ball of Herbs, is a song parody of "Soft Kitty" from The Big Bang Theory featured in a viral video by TikToker @rat.traphouse in which he asks, "Did I just make the song of the Summer?" and then claims to be George Cooper from Young Sheldon and sings the song while scrolling through a slideshow presenting the lyrics. The video was posted in June 2024 and went viral, becoming the subject of memes, remixes and further parodies. That July, users began trolling TikToker Mama Owl with the song.
On June 7th, 2024, TikToker[1] @rat.traphouse posted a video in which he sings an original song parody of "Soft Kitty" about loving brisket. In the video, he asks, "Did I just make the song of the summer?" and then introduces himself as George Cooper, the father of Sheldon Cooper in Young Sheldon. He goes on to click through a slideshow and sing the song. The video gained over 2.5 million views in a month (shown below).
The song is both a reference to "Soft Kitty" from The Big Bang Theory and George Cooper Sr.'s love of Meemaw's brisket in Young Sheldon.

The song became the subject of memes, remixes and parodies over the course of June 2024, with the original sound being used over 38,000 times by July 1st, 2024.
On June 18th, 2024, TikToker[2] @_calamari_hari_ posted a video of their own slideshow set to the song, garnering over 2.4 million views in two weeks (shown below, left). On June 21st, TikToker[3] @rembrj posted a video texting each lyric of the song in response to a breakup text, garnering over 3.2 million views in two weeks (shown below, right).
On June 25th, TikToker[4] @sheldonsdadsings posted a parody of the "Brisket Song" in which they sing a song about brisket to the tune of "TiK ToK" by Ke$ha, garnering over 385,000 views in a week (shown below, left).
On June 30th, 2024, TikToker[5] @goig_cool posted a video in which the song has been edited by AI to make it sound as if TikToker Mama Owl is singing it, garnering over 190,000 views in a day (shown below, right). This is made in reference to Mama Owl claiming she started getting hate after blocking viewers in her TikTok LIVE stream for spamming its lyrics.
