Bretman Rock Baby Lip-synching refers to a video of YouTuber Bretman Rock mockingly moving his mouth to match the sound of a crying baby. The video has since been used as a reaciton video to jokes about dealing with infants.
Origin
On May 20th, 2019, Bretman Rock posted a video on Instagram [1] of himself lip-syncing to the sound of his neice Cleo crying. The post received more than 1.9 million likes and 6 million views (shown below).
Spread
That following day, people Twitter began captioning the video. Twitter user @hannahbvo tweeted the video with the caption "this is me whenever my parents yells at my siblings." The tweet received more than 90,000 retweets, 235,000 likes and 3 million videos in three days (shown below).
Twitter user @Prriiii__ posted the video with the caption "Future me when my kids cryin." Within three days, the tweet received more than 254,000 retweets, 645,000 likes and 10 million views (shown below).
On May 23rd, PopBuzz[2] published a report on the video.
