Appearance-wise, @lovergurlll01 is a Black teenage girl, seen wearing a blue Nike hoodie. The video inspired memes due to a widely held perception that it was cringe or corny. In the following days, many parodied her video or used it for over-dramatic video edits that ironically romanticized it. A black-and-white screenshot of her face also became an exploitable in a series of photo edits that predominantly surfaced in TikTok comment sections.

On October 21st, 2025, TikToker[1] @lovergurlll01 shared a video of herself, seemingly sitting in a school classroom, wearing a blue hoodie. The video's text overlay caption read, "I gotta stop looking at people like this," and its description read, "I js a flirt fr." In the video, @lovergurlll01 is seen looking up and staring at another person flirtatiously. Over one week, the video received roughly 1.1 million likes.

On October 22nd, 2025, TikToker[2] @darkskinbaddie39 spoofed the original video by using its TikTok sound[3] and showing herself recreating @lovergurlll01's flirtatious gaze. Over six days, the video received roughly 1.1 million likes.

Also on October 22nd, TikToker[4] @crackedbybryan used the TikTok sound,[3] showing himself as the imagined receiver of @lovergurlll01's flirtatious stare, paired with the text overlay caption, "Me because she forcing the seductive look too hard and it's kinda awkward." Over six days, his video received roughly 1.3 million likes.

On October 23rd, 2025, TikToker[5] @theweekndconsumer used the original video in a video caption meme, reading, "Me when the teacher calls on me but I was lowkey imagining cracking fine shyt during the lesson," gaining over 716,600 likes in five days.

In the abovementioned video's comment section, on October 23rd, TikToker @limitedsydd shared an exploited version of @lovergurlll01 in the original video, showing a censored black bar over her eyes, reading, "ERROR," Broken Heart Emojis and a low battery (1%) symbol. Over five days, the comment received over 71,500 likes. It's currently unconfirmed if it's the original upload of the image.



Several edits of the image appeared in TikTok comment sections in the following days. For instance, a black-and-white edit in which the original girl was made bald was shared in the comment section of a video from TikToker[6] @ryankrazii on October 26th, 2025, gaining over 13,500 likes in two days.
