Big Tasty Kritiker

The Big Tasty Kritiker (engl.: Big N' Tasty Critic) is a viral video featuring Lars Cloos, a 14-year-old German teenager. While eating out at McDonald's he is complaining about the quality of his Big Tasty burger (engl: Big N' Tasty) since he already has "eaten about fifty Big N’ Tasty and they always have been warm and delicious".

Lars Cloos died on November 16th, 2010 of multiple brain tumors. ^[1]

Origin

On May 29th, 2010 Lars Cloos aka. Donnerfurz (aka. Thunderfart) and other members of the nintendofire.de forum visited the Japan Day ^[2] 2010 in Düsseldorf while documenting their trip on video. ^[3]

On June, 9th 2010 YouTube user schmatti89 uploaded a video called "Mc Donalds Qualitätssicherung" (engl.: McDonald's Quality Control). The video quickly spread over the internet. Realizing people made fun of Donnerfurz schmatti89 deleted the original file.^[4]

By then the video was uploaded to several video hosters and linked to in numerous blogs and websites.

Translation

By now, I've eaten about fifty Big N' Tasty and they always have been warm and delicious. Today I had my first Big N' Tasty: the cheese was already melted on the packaging, which means this was laying around for twenty minutes back there. This Big N' Tasty has got nothing to do with a Big N' Tasty – except for the appearance.
