About

Bias is a term used in K-pop slang to refer to a fan's favorite member from an idol group. The word is prominent among Western K-pop users in particular and is used synonymously with "favorite." Use of the term "bias" grew in virality in the early 2010s. K-pop biases are sometimes further described as "ultimate bias," meaning a person has an idol who is their favorite amongst all idol groups, while still having biases for each idol group in general.

HARSH K-POP TRUTH: YOUR BIAS'S HAIR When you realize your bias CAN'T pull off everything. THE HAIR FAIR Harsh K-Pop Truths Though there are a few exceptions to this Harsh K-Pop Truth (coughTOPcough), most of us realists have to face that day where the newest makeover just... well, just didn't work. Now we aren't saying your bias lost the touch that caught your attention in the first place, but one of his or her hairdos may have caused your forehead to meet your palm. WARNING: If your bias appears in this post, and you are offended in some way, we are SO sorry... that your bias had to go through such an... awkward phase. Of course, everyone can have their own opinion, and maybe you thought some of these hairstyles were a success! For us, however, to be completely frank, they make us shudder. SHINee's Key - Lucifer Key Sorry, b-locket... it had to be done. Now, it's hard to find bad pictures of Key. Both Caitlin and I agree that he's incredibly attractive... but this hairstyle is like that embarrassing stain on your couch that everyone wonders where it came from but no one wants to ask. We aren't the only ones who think so. ODDFEATHER listed this haircut as a complete fail as well. WE (no longer pulling ODDFEATHER under the bus with us) would like to point out, after re-watching Lucifer, that most of the SHINee hairstyles during Lucifer promotions were, at the least, a tad bit awkward.
