Beyoncé's Assistant refers to a viral Twitter thread game created by user @CORNYASSBITCH in which users choose the proper path to take as Beyoncé's assistant in order to remain employed by clicking the correct answer to access the next thread.
Origin
On June 22nd, 2019, @CORNYASSBITCH tweeted, "Being Beyoncé’s assistant for the day: DONT GET FIRED THREAD" and began the game (shown below). The tweet garnered over 97,900 retweets and 256,200 likes in a week.
Spread
On June 23rd, Various twitter users responded positively to the thread. Chrissy Teigen[1] tweeted, "This is amazing and really well done 😂 I got fired about 3 in" (shown below, left). Her post received over 145,200 likes in a week. Due to the first thread's popularity, on June 25th, @CORNYASSBITCH[2] tweeted another, this time, for Cardi B's body guard (shown below, center). The thread gained over 600 likes in five days. On June 28th, Apple TV[3] attempted to make a similar thread by tweeting, "What movie should you watch this weekend? -- A THREAD" (shown below, right). The thread was unsuccessful and gained only 40 likes in three days.
