Batman, I Caught a Little Pokémon or There Are No Laws Against Pokémon, Batman refers to a series of videos and animations using an audio clip where the Joker tells Batman that he caught the Pokemon Lopunny and infers that he's going to have sex with it as Batman urges him not to. The audio originates from TikToker and Twitch streamer imryanleo and was posted to TikTok in May 2022 and went viral over the following months as an audio source for animations.

Origin

On May 21st, 2022, TikToker^[1] @imryanleo posted a Fortnite gaming clip taken from a stream where he narrates a mock conversation between Batman and Joker as he plays. The conversation has Joker tell Batman that he caught a Lopunny and Joker infer that he's going to have sex with it, saying, "There are no laws against the Pokémon, Batman." The video gained over 800,000 views in eight months (shown below).

The audio clip saw increasing use over the following months in animations and videos. On June 28th, 2022, YouTuber^[2] NoDragonsPlz posted an animation using the audio, garnering over 9,000 views in seven months. On July 6th, TikToker^[3] @ers_draws posted an animatic using the audio, garnering over 188,000 views in six months (shown below).

On July 10th, TikToker^[4] @chaoticmenace posted an animation to the audio, garnering over a million views in six months (shown below, left). On October 2nd, TikToker^[5] @BRIMAN2000 posted an animation, gaining over 25 million views in three months. They also posted it to YouTube,^[6] garnering over 247,000 views in three months (shown below, right).

On January 4th, 2023, YouTuber^[7] That One Guy posted a lip dub to the audio, garnering over 434,000 views in three weeks (shown below).
