About
Bas Kar Bhai, sometimes called Crying Anime Indian Villagers, is an exploitable meme that uses a screen capture from an anime depicting various Indian-looking men crying and smiling with their palms folded. The image is often reposted with a phrasal template that starts with the line "Bas kar bhai," which translates to "Stop it bro." The meme stems from a scene from the anime Symphogear, and first gained virality in the fall of 2020.
