The punchline lies in the slow-motion replay, in which the TikToker says an entirely different phrase, often a memetic catchphrase, pretending that it's the original audio.

On May 29th, 2025, TikToker[1] @rayrambo__ posted a video with text reading, "Just found out I can say Foot Lettuce in 0.1 seconds." He's seen saying the phrase and then replaying it in slow motion. In the slow-mo playback, he instead says an insult. Over one month, the video gained over 238,400 likes (shown below).

On May 31st, TikToker[2] @rayrambo__ posted another video following the same format, instead centering on the words "avocado bacon."

On June 2nd, 2025, TikToker[3] @rayrambo__ posted another video, instead using the words "bacon avocado," gaining over 550,000 likes in three weeks (shown below). The TikToker is currently the first known person to follow the format.

On June 6th, 2025, TikToker[4] @amaridavell posted a video about saying, "Chicken bacon ranch," in 0.1 seconds, gaining over 1.3 million likes in 20 days.

On June 8th, TikToker[5] @catbugsoap followed the Bacon Avocado format, and in the slow-mo replay, she recited a long insult. Over 18 days, the video gained over 329,200 likes (shown below).

On June 10th, 2025, TikToker[6] @ccaincringefest posted her own version of the Bacon Avocado trend, gaining over 862,900 likes in 16 days (shown below).

On June 25th, TikToker[7] @kevinjamessievert posted an iteration of the trend, in which he recited his A Barbershop Haircut That Costs a Quarter meme, gaining over 219,600 likes in a day (shown below).
