#Babytwt, also known as Baby Twitter, refers to the joke hashtag parody movement on Twitter / X in which netizens pretend to be newborns tweeting about their daily lives. The trend gained traction in mid-June 2025, often featuring Stan Twitter GIFs, reaction videos and images accompanied by satirical captions of their experiences as a baby in the "#babytwt" community.

Origin

On June 19th, 2025, X^[4] user @PoopResearch posted the first mention of the e #Babytwt hashtag movement, adding a Stan Twitter GIF paried with the caption I just found out things behind my head still exist y’all…" The post (seen below) received roughly 13,000 views and 518 likes in five days.

On June 21st, 2025, X^[1] user @neversteadyy posted the earliest viral tweet in the #Babytwt parody movement. The user wrote, "so uuhh … my mom just offered me actual solid food. I’m 6 months old," accompanied by the Stan Twitter GIF of a Brazilian girl singing (seen below), which amassed more than 4 million views and 294,000 likes in two days.

In the next few days, several X users joined the #Babytwt community, adding Stan Twitter memes in tweets pretending to be newborns sharing their routine online.

For instance, on June 22nd, 2025, X^[2] user @hearts2dani wrote, "Y'all, my mom disappears every time we play peekaboo. I hate this game so much." The tweet (seen below) received more than 2 million views and 183,000 likes in a day.

On June 23rd, 2025, X^[3] user @mymehlodi posted a similar comical #Babytwt tweet, writing, "Age check because I caught oomf eating solid food." The tweet (seen below) received roughly 228,000 views and 26,000 likes in a few hours.
