Baby Keem's "Range Brothers" Featuring Kendrick Lamar or Kendrick Lamar "Top Of The Mornin" is a song off Baby Keem's 2021 hip-hop album The Melodic Blue featuring his cousin and rapper Kendrick Lamar. The song was leaked on September 8th, two days before the album's official release date, and became the subject of mockery because of a section of the song where Lamar repeats the phrase "top of the mornin'," a greeting of Irish origin.
Origin
On September 8th, 2021, Redditor u/watermaloneyyy posted an OnlyFiles[1] leak of Baby Keem's song "Range Brothers" featuring Kendrick Lamar to /r/HipHopHeads,[2] gaining over 690 upvotes in two days. The song was released in full two days later with Baby Keem's album, "The Melodic Blues." At the four-minute mark of the song, Lamar repeats the words "top of the mornin'," an Irish greeting, seven times (full song shown below). The strange lyrics were pointed out by multiple commenters, with the top comment by u/i_am_so_lost_hello reading, "Tappa the mornin," with over 400 upvotes.

On the same day, Twitter[3] user @0megaNeB posted an isolated clip of the "top of the morning" portion of the leak with the caption "What the HELL is Kendrick Lamar doing bruh 😭😭😭" gaining over 97,000 likes and 18,000 retweets in two days (shown below).
The thread inspired a number of posts making fun of the lyrics in the comments. On September 9th, Twitter[4] user @honestlykalvin posted a video adding the "top of the mornin'" clip over a video of two dancing men, gaining over 14,500 likes and 2,600 retweets in a day (shown below).
On the same day, TikToker @killmurphyyy posted a skit about getting up at 4:00 a.m. for work using the sample, gaining over 660,000 views in a day (shown below, left). On September 10th, "Anthony Fantano": posted a video doing a dance where he tips his hat on every "top of the mornin'" to the sound, gaining over 990,000 views in under a day (shown below, right). He also posted the video to Twitter, gaining over 25,000 likes that same day.
