About

Baby Girl? Daddy's Home or Peanut Sans is a series of animation memes based on a 2020 fan animation of Sans from Undertale thirst trapping in which he says, "Baby girl, daddy's home. Hello, princess." Throughout the 2020s, the animation inspired recreations on YouTube that replace Sans with another character. In 2023, a Friday Night Funkin' mod titled "UNDERTALE: Poopshitters" was released featuring the video, which, in December 2023, inspired memes on TikTok using footage from the mod.

Origin

On December 30th, 2020, YouTuber[1] Maiko The Hybrid Wolf posted a Flipaclip animation in which Sans from Undertale thirst traps viewers by taking off his shirt, saying, "Baby girl, daddy's home. Hello, princess," then approaching the viewer. The video gained over 512,000 views in just over three years (shown below).

The animation inspired reanimations on YouTube over the following years, often replacing Sans with another character or animating Sans in a new style. For example, on January 2nd, 2022, YouTuber[2] Skull Kandi posted a version featuring Sundrop and Moondrop, garnering over 73,000 views in two years (shown below, left). On April 18th, YouTuber[3] DanyBloger posted a version that gained over 30,000 views in the same span of time (shown below, right).

Spread

The original animation gained viral spread through uploads to sites like TikTok. For example, on August 21st, 2023, it was reuploaded by TikToker[11] @notmangle with an additional caption, garnering over 417,000 views in five months (shown below).
