Atom Eve Undressing, also known as When I Saw This Scene in the Last Episode of Invincible, refers to a series of Invincible circlejerk memes in which an image of the character Atom Eve (Samantha Eve Wilkins) shown removing her clothes is replaced with other characters, typically from the TV or comic book series. Based on a viral Facebook post, the meme achieved virality in several subreddits dedicated to the show in March 2025.

Origin

On March 13th, 2025, episode eight, titled "I Thought You'd Never Shut Up," of the animated superhero series Invincible premiered. In one scene of the episode, the characters Mark Grayson / Invincible and Samantha Wilkins / Atom Eve are about to have sex, with Atom Eve removing her shirt while looking down at Mark.

On March 17th, 2025, the Facebook^[1] page Señor Mantequilla posted a still image of Atom Eve from the scene with a caption about feeling envious of Mark for getting with Eve and insisting that Eve deserves someone better, "someone like me." The post (shown below) garnered over 80,000 reactions and 4,300 shares in eight days.

On March 20th, 2025, X^[2] user @nocontextnvncbl shared a translated version of the post. The post (shown below) garnered over 670 reposts and 13,000 likes in five days.

When I saw this scene in the last episode of Invincible, I felt an envy I couldn't control… Seeing such a beautiful woman with that gaze, wanting to feel the whole being of someone like Mark, filled me with rage… I deserve someone like that too, someone who looks at me with those eyes and wants to give me all the love possible, just look… Just tell me you don't feel envy or something in this scene? I'm not criticizing Mark; he seems like a great guy, but I don't know, Eve deserves someone better, someone like me.

On March 21st, 2025, X^[3] user @MossyRock120 requested the image of Eve to be redrawn as character Cecil from the same show. Later that day, X^[4] user @doyttle shared the requested redraw, which received over 610 reposts and 4,400 likes in four days (shown below).

On March 22nd, 2025, Redditor HunterCoool22 reposted the redraw in the /r/Invincible^[5] subreddit, where it received over 18,000 likes in three days.

The post was followed by users in the /r/Invincible and /r/okbuddyviltrum subreddits posting redraws of the image featuring other characters from the show, as well as various memes based on the redraws.

For example, on March 23rd, Redditor Voryn_mimu posted a redraw featuring the character Andressa (the Empress of Thraxa) that gained over 5,000 upvotes in the subreddit /r/Invincible^[6] in two days (shown below).

On March 25th, 2025, Redditor Youneedtogoon_Mark shared a collection of 18 versions of the meme in the /r/okbuddyviltrum^[7] subreddit that gained over 290 upvotes in less than a day.

The memes saw further spread beyond the community through reposts on Reddit and other sites.
