On July 9th, 2025, TikToker^[1] @chulachumkong, a 59-year-old fitness influencer known for her workout videos, posted a video in which she does a version of the Good Knees Challenge to show off her knee strength, supporting herself on a chair. The video gained over 12,400 views in a month.

Spread

On August 5th, 2025, the Instagram^[2] page beezytvmedia reposted a version of the video that shows Chula doing the challenge next to a still of her giving a thumbs up, captioned, "WOAH! 50+ YEAR OLD GRANDMA SHOWS OFF HER 'GOOD KNEES,'" garnering over 107,000 likes in about two weeks.

On August 21st, X^[3] user @Raintheplug1 reposted a crop of the video, which was reposted again by X^[4] user @Raindropsmedia1 that day, garnering over 141,000 likes and 8,300 reposts in a day.

The video inspired reactions and continued to be reposted online. For example, later that day, X^[5] user @lordlxl quoted the video, simply writing, "Yeah," garnering over 28,000 likes in a day.

Later on August 21st, X^[6] user @hendeezycal posted, "she moving like Ricky Steamboat in 2009," gaining over 4,100 likes in a day.

On August 22nd, 2025, the video was reposted to the /r/SipsTea^[7] subreddit, garnering over 3,500 upvotes in under 10 hours.
