It went viral after being uploaded to TikTok sometime in 2020. Origin

The earliest available upload of the video was posted to YouTube^[1] on June 28th, 2020 (shown below). It shows an Asian boy riding a bicycle from the POV of a camera attached to the handlebars, looking at his face. The video shows the boy riding then falling off. It has a TikTok watermark linking to TikToker @joshieboiiiiiiiiiii, a now-deleted account. It is unknown if this is the true original source of the video.

The video became the subject of edits in late 2020 throughout 2021 as people added various comedic sound effects and audios over it. On November 5th, 2020, YouTuber Pengleball uploaded a version of the video with cartoon sound effects added, gaining over 1.2 million views in a year (shown below).

On August 26th, 2021, YouTuber^[2] breadko posted a version of the video with the Soundtrack HQ from The World's Hardest Game^[3] over it, gaining over 2.7 million views in three months (shown below). Edits of the video became increasingly popular in late 2021.
