On May 9th, 2019, the Twitter account for Givenchy posted a video of Grande in silhouette with the caption "GUESS WHO? THE NEW FACE OF #GIVENCHY, REVEALED TOMORROW." The post received more than 15,000 retweets and 78,000 likes in 24 hours (shown below).

Following the post, people began responding directly to the tweet with joke guesses as to who the model would be, despite knowing it was Grande by her trademark ponytail. Twitter^[1] user @mineifiwildout tweeted, "looks like lebron. The tweet received more than 20,000 retweets and 100,000 likes in 24 hours (shown below, left). Twitter^[2] user @SexySnakez guessed, "ED SHEERAN OMG 😍😍😍." The post received more than 1,000 retweets and 23,000 likes in 24 hours (shown below, right).
