Are You Stupid? Get Out Of Here! Fuck You is a catchphrase and viral compilation video of a teacher explaining how to say common expressions in Chinese. The video, paired with Vine Thuds, gained popularity in TikTok duets in November 2022.

Origin

Throughout 2022, TikToker^[1] @molly_chinesteacher (previously under the TikTok account @molly66180), a teacher of the Chinese language, posted a video in which she explained how to say common expressions in Mandarin Chinese. For example, a video of @molly_chineseteacher^[2] saying "Are you stupid?" in Chinese, posted on September 22nd, 2022, gained over 106,000 views and 8,000 likes in roughly three months (shown below, left, another video shown below, right).

On November 11th, 2022, TikToker^[3] diggerstoni posted a compilation video made by rapidly scrolling through @molly_chineseteacher's TikTok account so she only says one phrase per video, creating the impression that she first insults the viewer and then compliments them. The post accumulated over 9.4 million views and 1.7 million likes in one month (shown below). The video was notably paired with Vine Thuds to accentuate the insults.

On November 12th, 2022, Twitter^[9] user @lowshouIders reposted the video, with the post accumulating over 2.5 million views in one month.

On November 12th, 2022, TikToker^[4] @seenfeen posted a duet with the compilation that gained over 1.9 million views and 393,000 likes in one month (shown below, left). On November 13th, TikToker^[5] @danizant used the video to rate customization options in Roblox in a TikTok that received over 328,000 views and 37,700 likes in one month (shown below, right).

Following the posts, the compilation achieved viral popularity in duets on TikTok. For example, on November 19th, 2022, TikToker^[6] cyguy365 responded to the video with a Reimu Fumo Fumo Plush, tossing and shaking it as it got insulted and complimented. The video gained over 322,000 views and 53,000 likes in one month (shown below, left). On December 3rd, TikToker^[7] @cauterizedtoenummies posted a duet that received over 3.4 million views and 785,000 likes in 10 days (shown below, right).

On December 4th, Twitter^[8] user @ProjectCensor reuploaded the duet, with the video receiving over 458,000 views, 12,600 retweets and 67,500 likes in eight days.
