Angry Vegeta, also known as Thirsty Vegeta, Vegeta Snapping or Vegeta Fuming, refers to a fanmade image of the Dragon Ball character Vegeta fuming with rage from a high-angle perspective, which is a common drawing trope in anime from the 2020s. The fan art was posted in July 2021 on DeviantArt and became popularized as an image macro and reaction meme on Reddit, X / Twitter and TikTok, often used by netizens to express thirsting or being excessively angry at something.
Origin
On July 27th, 2021, DeviantArt[1] user @demonanelot posted a fan art of the Dragon Ball character Vegeta, titled "Vegeta – Surging Saiyan Blood," which they describe as "supposed to be like all those high-angle moments in anime." The image (seen below) amassed over 32,000 views and 245 favorites in four years.

The angry Vegeta fan art became a notable exploitable and reaction meme on social media in the following years, recurrently used to express someone's obsession or excessive reaction, be that anger or happiness.
For instance, on January 6th, 2025, Redditor[2] u/Berem_ posted the Vegeta fuming image macro to comment on the Solo Leveling season 2 anime premiere. The post (seen below) received roughly 300 upvotes and 10 comments in three days.
On October 17th, 2023, Memedroid[3] user Kratosmxlevel posted the angry Vegeta meme photoshopped from the perspective of a doorbell, joking about YouTuber Sssniperwolf allegedly stealing content from Jacksfilms. The post (seen below) received more than 270 reactions in two years.
