Analogia Is My Passion is an expression and reaction image often used to mock people making bad analogies while comparing different subjects. Featuring an illustration of the center of Planet Earth and an avocado seed, the image started to be used as a reaction meme in early 2021, especially on X / Twitter.

On July 23rd, 2021, X^[1] user @arielfhitz replied to a tweet from a Brazilian comparing gender identity and gender equality. He used a photoshopped image that related the center of the Earth with an avocado seed and the text "Analogia is my passion." The post (seen below) amassed more than 578 likes and 79 reposts in three years.

The "analogy is my passion" catchphrase and image became widely used as a reply to mock netizens trying to compare subjects or situations that aren't related. For instance, on June 22nd, 2022, X^[2] user @BauenyBarroco replied to a tweet using the meme (seen below, left), amassing roughly 58 likes in two years. On July 9th, 2024, X^[3] user @AlicePriestly used the catchphrase as an ironic reply to a tweet comparing indie games. The post (sheen below, right) amassed more than 589 likes in a month.
