On May 31st, 2018, Redditor ^[1] PM_ME_UR_AGLET in the /r/MemeEconomy subreddit posted an image of a Google Maps screen-capture in which the road is labeled "Road to Success" and the detour is labeled "Cocaine." The post (shown below) received more than 28,000 points (93% upvoted) and 740 comments.

The following day, Redditor^[2] Oman2324 posted a variation of the meme in the /r/MemeEconomy subreddit in which the road is labeled "The Road to Getting Laid the detour is labeled "Posting Your Fortnite Wins on Snapchat." The post (shown below, left) received more than 700 points (95% upvoted).

Over the next 24 hours, Redditors on both /r/MemeEconomy and /r/dankmemes posted variations of the image (examples below, center and right).
