About

All Might Slideshows, also known as Me Being at the Lowest Point in My Life, refers to a series of TikTok slideshows that start with a meme reading, "Me being at the lowest point in my life." Then, they slowly fade into My Hero Academia character All Might (or Toshinori Yagi) in his Final Victory pose placed next to a food item that is portrayed to have saved the meme creator from their "lowest point." The slideshows used the song "You Say Run" by Yûki Hayashi. Many of the slideshows also referenced the When You Gotta Lock In meme. The trend started in January 2024, spreading across TikTok to other fandoms like those of Jujutsu Kaisen and Elden Ring, evident in memes about the non-playable character Fia which were paired with the question, "Is the cure to the sadness a hug from her?"

Origin

On January 26th, 2024, TikToker[1] @beargrillz7 posted a photo slideshow that started with a meme showing My Hero Academia character All Might in his "Final Victory" pose, reading, "When you lowkey don't fw life no more but spaghetti exists so you gotta lock in." The slideshow then slowly faded into a new meme, again showing All Might with text reading, "i love spaghetti." The TikTok sound[2] was the song "You Say Run" by Yûki Hayashi. Over four days, the slideshow received roughly 1.2 million plays and 252,400 likes (recording shown below).

Spread

Soon after the virality of TikToker[1] @beargrillz7's slideshow, others on the app replicated the format, using the same TikTok sound.[2] For instance, on January 27th, 2024, TikToker[3] @lordjogo posted a slideshow that attested, "Me being at the lowest point in my life," and slowly transitioned into All Might with "Kebab," gaining roughly 461,500 likes in three days (three photos shown below).

Also on January 27th, 2024, TikToker[4] @anime_tenshi posted a slideshow with the same sound, starting with an image of Fia from Elden Ring with text reading, "Is the cure to the sadness a hug from her?" The slideshow then faded in All Might with spaghetti. Over three days, the photos gained roughly 894,100 plays and 190,100 likes (three photos shown below).

Going into January 2024, the slideshows became increasingly elaborate and continued to spread to other fandoms. For instance, on January 29th, 2024, TikToker[5] @eav1l_ze posted a Berserk version that used the Is the Cure to Male Loneliness template and referenced ironic gambling memes, gaining over 875,300 plays and 140,900 likes in a day (recording shown below).

By January 30th, 2024, the trend's primary TikTok sound[2] had amassed over 8,400 posts using it.
