About
AI Fruits Eating Themselves or Niche Fruit, also known as Freaky Fruits, is a series of AI-generated ASMR videos of fruits with faces eating pieces of fruit, including the same type of fruit that they are, such as an apple eating an apple. The trend began in early July 2025 with the rise of AI ASMR videos on TikTok and was popularized on the app in August as users reuploaded the videos with additional captions. As the videos went viral, they also inspired edits and memes, which were posted in the comments sections of the videos.
