Ahahahah How Are You That Small is an exploitable image macro used in a series of POV redraw memes based on a blurry image of four girls laughing, captioned, "Ahahahah how are you that small," as if the girls are laughing at someone's small penis. The earliest version of the meme was originally posted to /r/sadcringe in December 2019 and gained viral spread over the following years.

Origin

On December 27th, 2019, Redditor u/chrisghgh posted a meme to /r/sadcringe^[1] showing what appears to be a Snapchat screenshot with a banner reading, "AHAHAHAH HOW ARE YOU THAT SMALL" showing four women giggling and looking forward, garnering over 1,400 upvotes in four years (shown below). This is the earliest known upload of the meme.

Spread

The meme became increasingly popularized over the following years, inspiring redraws and further memes referencing it. On April 21st, 2020, a now-deleted Redditor posted a Pokemon version of the meme to /r/pokemon^[2] that gained over 4,700 upvotes in three years (shown below, left). On March 23rd, 2021, Instagram^[3] user nocontextcats posted another version of the meme with a kitten that gained over 38,000 likes in two years (shown below, right).
