Afia Oil Animated Commercial, also known as the Afia Oil Meme and Afia Oil Song, refers to a series of video memes that riff on a 2000s era animated CGI advertisement for Afia corn oil, a Saudi Arabian brand, which showed dancing vegetables like corn and tomatoes. The commercial was set to an Arabic song by Syrian artist RAMİ ORGG (rami org) in 2025, which spread on Instagram Reels and TikTok. A bass-boosted remix of the song by Rose Rot also gained usage online. A series of AI-generated reedits of the video then surfaced en masse, notably in November and December 2025.

Origin

On November 20th, 2008, Moroccan animator Nabil Rami shared a commercial he claimed to have worked on for Afia corn oil on YouTube.^[1] Rami claimed that the commercial was an official selection for the Annecy Animation Festival in 2006. The claim has not yet been corroborated. The animation showed dancing CGI vegetables. Over 17 years, the video received over 60,000 views.

A year before, on August 21st, 2007, YouTuber^[10] Sarry “‫سري شعبان‬” Shaaban shared another Afia Oil Commercial in the same animation style, gaining over 426,000 views and 21,000 likes in 18 years.

Years later, on September 1st, 2025, YouTuber^[2] Noo shared a video that combined clips from both animated Afia commercials, paired with a song performed by YouTuber^[3] RAMİ ORGG in a March 2024 video. Over three months, the video received over 961,300 views and 35,000 likes.

On September 1st, 2025, Instagram^[4] user @dailyafiameme reposted the abovementioned video, gaining over 340 likes in three months.

The user shared the video every day after, like on September 13th, @dailyafiameme posted the clip on Instagram,^[5] gaining over 36,400 likes in three months.

On October 16th, 2025, Instagram^[8] user @rose_rot_ shared a bass-boosted version of the song from the Afia Oil Commercial meme, gaining over 269,200 likes in two months.

On October 21st, TikToker^[6] @always_afia4 reposted the original video, gaining over 141,900 likes in two months.

On November 14th, 2025, TikToker^[7] @bingsinterlude shared a video of her and some friends dancing to the song from the Afia Oil Commercial meme. Over one month, the video gained over 110,700 likes.

On November 28th, TikToker^[9] @trzpro59 posted an AI-altered version of the original Afia Oil Commercial meme, showing anthropomorphic car parts dancing around a vehicle. Over four days, the video received over 420,000 likes.
