About
Adrian, Explain Our Friend Group or Ohio Friend Group refers to a viral video where a presumed high schooler named Adrian is asked to explain his friend group to the camera, saying they're a mixture of Ohio, then singing a version of "Swag Like Ohio," with a pinch of Florida and Arkansas, concluding that they are "fucking chaotic as shit." The video was deemed cringey by some while others in the comments envied how happy the friend group seemed, resulting in edits and videos referencing it on TikTok in February 2023. In June 2025, Adrian was interviewed so he could explain his friend group.
In mid-2025, the video became a central exploitable element in the Adrian Eeffoc Brainrot genre of brainrot and lobotomy videos, which combined exploitable video elements into absurd edits, largely focusing on Adrian, Explain Our Friend Group and the Coffee Spelled Backwards is Eeffoc meme. Other common exploitables in the trend included A Barbershop Haircut That Costs a Quarter, Bro's Got X-Ray Vision for Grippers, Instagrammar, Steven Here and Thompson's Cutz and Design's, among many others.
