a is the first letter in Latin alphabet. Online, is a series of image macros and photoshops in which the first letter of the English (or Latin) alphabet "A". Similar to aaaaaaaa, it was used as reaction image in shitposting manners. Also it was popularized by Hololive virtual youtuber Gawr Gura's tweet.

Origin

On September 9th, 2020, Gawr Gura from her Twitter^[1] @gawrgura uploaded tweet with only one letter, and the letter is "a". The tweet received more than 20,600 likes and 5,100 retweets (shown below).
