About

5Head is a Twitch Emote showing a picture of Twitch streamer Cadberry of the 4Head emote edited such that his forehead is much larger than the rest of his face. The emote is used to react to moments of great intelligence, or to mock streamer's mistakes, and is particularly popular in the chat of streamer xQc.

Origin

5Head was added to FrankerFacez^[1] on March 15th, 2018 by SublimedTV (shown below).

Spread

The emote became most popular in the chat of streamer xQc during his Overwatch, particularly to reference the play of frequent xQc teammate m0xyy. On March 11th, 2019, Redditor HailTheTwinTails^[2] posted a guide to the emotes in xQc's chat, saying 5head would be used whenever m0xyy spoke (shown below). A wine emote often follows the 5head emote, as if to imitate an intellectual sipping wine and making intelligent points.

Due to the emote's association with m0xyy, fans of xQc grew to associate any picture edited to give the subject an enlarged forehead with the Overwatch player, and fans of m0xyy began to call themselves "moxxers." For example, on March 26th, 2019, Redditor 2b_777 posted a PewDiePie thumbnail in which he has an enlarged forehead, calling him a "Moxxer" (shown below, left). On November 25th, 2018, Redditor fireflew11 posted a picture of Megamind, making a similar joke (shown below, right).
