The post gathered over 70,000 likes and 3,000 likes in two years (seen below). The video is the earliest notable humorous post about it being "5 PM on a Sunday."

On November 20th, 2022, TikToker^[2] @vxvumar posted a joke about playing video games until his mood sours upon realizing that it is 5 PM on a Sunday, gathering over 2 million plays and 400,000 likes in two years (seen below, left). On February 26th, 2023, TikToker^[3] @the.real.bigman posted a meme video showing the difference between "Sunday before 5pm" and "Sunday after 5pm," saying, "The dread of another week is unbearable." The post gathered over 180,000 plays and 37,000 likes in a year (seen below, right)

On February 15th, 2024, TikToker^[4] @kitoofye posted a Kevin Hart reaction image with the caption, "When I'm laughing with bro then realize it's Sunday at 5pm." The meme (shown below) received nearly 2,000 likes in 12 days.
