On April 22nd, 2019, Twitter user @spideypencil[1] tweeted five jobs they'd had, and tagged several friends to do the same thing (shown below).


Spread

Over the course of the following two days, many people began to participate, eventually reaching noted authors, podcasters, and internet personalities with sizable Twitter followings. These include users like Travis McElroy of The McElroy Brothers, who gained over 890 likes[2] (shown below, left), and Colleen Ballinger of Miranda Sings, who gained over 190 retweets and 7,8000 likes (shown below, right).


As the game spread, some users made joke versions. Some include user @shonfaye[3] who used the lyrics from Meredith Brooks' "Bitch," gaining over 160 retweets and 1,200 likes (shown below, left). User @ImNotScottySire included "blowjob" in their list, gaining over 190 retweets and 2,900 likes (shown below, right).
