3D Saul Goodman refers to a viral video where a 3D rendering of Saul Goodman's (played by Bob Odenkirk) head moves around the screen while the intro music from the TV show Better Call Saul plays. The video was uploaded to YouTube in October 2021 and the 3D Saul Goodman head saw use in video edits over the following months as an exploitable.

Origin

On October 17th, 2021, YouTuber[1] Itsnickford posted a video where a 3D rendering of Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul zooms in and out of the foreground and moves around the screen over the theme song from the Better Call Saul TV series, gaining over 818,000 views in five months (shown below).

Spread

The video became the subject of edits over the following months. On January 17th, 2022, YouTuber[2] Hellsverg posted a longer, upscaled version of the video set to the entire theme song, gaining over 114,000 views in two months (shown below).

On January 27th, YouTuber[3] Peternity uploaded a video titled "staring contest" using the clip in a video where Patrick Bateman has a staring contest with Saul Goodman, gaining over 183,000 views in two months (shown below, left). On March 4th, YouTuber[4] Smoah posted a new version of the meme with a more simple definition version of Saul, gaining over 224,000 views in three weeks (shown below, right).

On March 22nd, the same YouTuber[5] uploaded a video inspired by 3D Saul Goodman showing a 3D Hank Schrader speaking the Dean Norris 'Sussy Baka' quote, gaining over 41,700 views in a week (shown below).
