"3 Big Balls," also known by its lyric "Four Big Guys," is a bawdy song by artist DigBarGayRaps released on March 14th, 2021. Starting in July 2021, the song is used as a trolling tactic in the video game Rust and other multiplayer games, gaining popularity in memes around September 2021.

Origin

On March 14th, 2021, artist DigBarGayRaps released "3 Big Balls," a bawdy song describing numerous instances of gay sex. The first upload of the song received over 280,000 views on YouTube^[1] in seven months (shown below), with music audio,^[2] uploaded on July 21st, 2021, gaining an additional 132,000 views in three months.

The song first achieved public recognition when on July 16th, 2021, TikToker^[3] @mrunoffended posted a Rust gameplay clip in which another player, plays "3 Big Balls" through a proximity mic while chasing him with a rock, with mrunoffended laughing. The clip received over 1.1 million views and 254,000 likes on TikTok, with the song later removed by the app.

The clip received viral spread online through reposts on Instagram, iFunny^[4] and YouTube^[5] (reupload shown below).

On September 9th, 2021, TikToker^[6] @unoriginalcontent_2.0 (previously @kanyes_albino_brother) posted a meme combining a clip from "Head Shoulder Knees and Toes" by the kids' songs channel Little Baby Bum^[10] with the second verse of the song starting with "Four big guys." The post received over 4.8 million views and 993,000 likes on the app in one month, with the song later removed by the app.

The video received viral spread online through reposts. For example, on September 10th, YouTuber^[7] jukinaia reposted the meme (shown below, left). On September 15th, YouTuber^[8] Josho Fosho posted an extended edit in which they included the entire song. The video received over 237,000 views in one month (shown below, right).

Following the viral spread of the meme, starting in mid-September 2021, the song had been used in memes on YouTube and other platforms, often combined with clips of various people and characters dancing.
